CR013 Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Safety Assessments

This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of clinical pharmacology and clinical safety assessments in drug development. The course will explore the principles and methodologies of clinical pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug metabolism.

The course will focus on the assessment of drug safety in clinical trials, including adverse event reporting, risk management, and pharmacovigilance. Students will learn about the role of clinical pharmacology in drug development, including dose selection, drug-drug interactions, and the use of pharmacogenetics to personalize drug therapy.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to analyze case studies and real-world scenarios related to clinical pharmacology and drug safety assessments. Students will also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through discussions and assignments.

Upon completion of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of clinical pharmacology and clinical safety assessments, and the ability to apply this knowledge to drug development and clinical research.
